Tip right from the locals – North Dalmatia from Sukosan

North Dalmatia is exceptionally rich  – you can find there plenty of islands or two national parks. Let’s explore the cruise from Sukosan through Skradin and Primosten to Kornati! Vali and Josis from Navigo charter share their favourite route.

Our cruise starts and ends in Sukosan. We´ll visit Murter island, historical town Primosten or two Croatian national parks – Krka and Kornati.

1. Sukosan – Murter, 26 NM
2. Murter – Skradin (Krka), 20 NM
3. Skradin – Primosten, 18 NM
4. Primosten – Kornati (Piskera), 28 NM
5. Kornati – Ugljan, 28 NM
6. Ugljan – Sukosan, 8 NM

First stop is a magical island Murter – a gate to the Kornati archipelago and also a well-known destination of all gourmets. For anchoring you can choose one of three marinas – ACI Marina Jezera, Marina Hramina, Marina Betina.

From Murter we are heading to the mouth of Krka river canyon. Here you can try waterfall bathing as Winnetou did himself! Anchoring is possible in ACI Marina Skradin. For dining in Skradin we recommend the Skala restaurant.

Our next stop is a historical town Primosten which is also a famous destination for wine lovers. Local vineyards are registered in UNESCO and even popular wine Babić originated in this location.

Pristine nature, islands with stunning creeks and crystal-clear water – that is the Kornati archipelago – a paradise for yachtsmen, scuba-divers and seafood lovers. Enjoy the gourmet experience in the Opat bay or the observation of underwater life in one of the largest bays in the eastern Adriatic –  Telascica. You can anchor in ACI Marina Piskera, ACI Marina Zut or in bays such as Lucica, Kravlacica and others.

The last stop before returning to Sukosan is the Ugljan island. Islands Ugljan and Pasman are connected by Zdrelac bridge with the height clearance of 16.5 m.

Close to Preko town it is worth visiting a monastery from the 15th century. You can anchor in marina Preko or in bays, e.g. Sutomiscica.

Similar cruise is possible also from Biograd and Zadar or in the opposite direction from Sibenik and Primosten. There are many options so the decision is only up to you.
